Review: Mischief Night (2014)
The basis of Mischief Night is what it says in the title. For those of you who don't know 'Mischief night' is the night before Halloween, where children wreak havoc on suspecting houses. This film plays around with the well-known tradition, and attempt to add a sense of danger to it. Personally this film failed to keep me interested throughout the entire film, due to the middle of the film, which lacked anything interesting or exciting. However, if you're still awake by the end of it, the pace does speed up a lot and adds an interesting twist to a rather slow film. Although the cast are rather good, it isn't enough to grasp the viewer and make them interested. The special effects of this film are somewhat okay, but still not enough to save the film. Overall I would give this film a 4/10 for the beginning and end, but the middle of this film is what let's it down.
